So many times I see small businesses getting lost in the maze of marketing online. There is so much to absorb and so much misinformation out there that you just don't know where to turn. It is akin to watching a dog chase it's tail; it spends hours chasing and chasing but never reaches it's goal. There is a secret that experienced marketers use that always brings success. It is the power of ten. Now do not get me wrong, this method takes hours of work and commitment and if you cannot afford an internet marketing service you will have to the invest time to create your own success online. You will not get rich overnight but you will see a steady increase in traffic and sales over the long haul. It is better than chasing your tail!
What is Marketing to The Power of Ten?
I call it the power of ten because you only ever use the top 10 of any marketing media. You will not waste your time, or risk hurting your online reputation, by chasing after the small fish in the sea.
- For this to work, you need to have the ten best keywords for your niche.
- You must be prepared to create content in lots of ten per day. That means writing 10 original content articles.(one for each keyword)
- Post those 10 articles on your blog.
- Submit those ten articles to only the top ten article directories.
- Take the links from those 10 articles and submit them each to the top 10 bookmarking sites.
- Submit your blog posts to the top ten blog directories.
- Get inbound links on the top ten websites for your keywords.
That's it. If you can put the power of ten to work for your website, you will be successful. I know you are thinking, that's a lot of work! Yes, it is. But a business is not a hobby unless you do not want to make money from it. If you cannot invest the time to work the power of ten then you must hire an internet marketing service to do it for you. Stop chasing your tail and take action that will get you the results you are looking for. Spending time going after the smaller fish in the sea will always leave you hungry. Go after the big fish, and you will spend less time fishing and more time feeling satisfied with your efforts.
